Family Mediator Training Course
This course is designed to assist participants to obtain Florida Supreme Court Certification as a Family Mediator.
Exercises have been designed to explore the participants’ negotiation skills, familiarize participants with the Florida Family Court System and introduce attendees to an exciting and rewarding profession. Take this opportunity to open a new door and build your resume.
All persons are welcome to enroll in this Course, however please be advised that applicants for Certification as a Family Mediator through the Florida Supreme Court are required to meet minimum standards for certification through their education and mediation experience. If you do not have at least a Master’s Degree please inquire with our offices prior to enrolling in this Course.

No — you do not need to be an attorney to take this course, though it is designed with practicing attorneys in mind. All persons are welcome to enroll. Please note that applicants for Certification as a Family Mediator through the Florida Supreme Court must meet minimum standards for certification through their education and mediation experience. If you do not have at least a Master's Degree, please inquire with our offices prior to enrolling.
The full 40-hour course is delivered live online via Zoom. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with your Zoom link and joining instructions before each session. Attendance at all sessions is required to complete the course.
You may cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before the first session of your training. After that, we are happy to transfer your registration to a future training date. Contact our office at (407) 538-5509 to arrange either.
You will receive a certificate of completion for the 40-hour Florida Supreme Court certified family mediator training. You can then apply for certification through the Florida Supreme Court, which evaluates your training together with your education and mediation experience. Our trainers will walk you through the application process during the course.
